The Makakilo-Kapolei Youth Baseball League (MKYBL) is a P.O.N.Y sanctioned organization that has been servicing the area since the late 80’s. Our geographical boundaries cover Makakilo, Kapolei, Honokai Hale and Kalaeloa. Boys & girls ages 4 thru 14 are welcome to participate in our league. Listed below are the different age divisions that we offer.

Shetland division
Players of league age are 4,5 & 6. (T-Ball) At this level the focus is totally on instruction of beginning players. Bases are at 50'. The entire roster of players present for the game shall bat in rotation. Base runners are not allowed to steal bases at this level.

Bronco division
Players of league age are 11 & 12. This level takes the developing young players into the full game of baseball, with no restrictions on base stealing. Bases are at 70' & pitching distance is 48'.

Pinto division
Players of league age are 7 & 8. (Coach pitch) This level teaches the basic fundamentals of baseball. Bases are at 60' & pitchers mound is at 38'. The entire roster of players present for the game shall bat in rotation and TEN players are used defensively. Base runners are not allowed to steal bases at this level.

Mustang division
Players of league age are 9 & 10. Players will begin training in the complete game of baseball.This is the first player pitch & base stealing level. Bases are at 60' & pitching distance is 44'.

Pony division
Players of league age are 13 & 14. This level takes the developing young players into the full game of baseball, preparing them for the next level. Bases are at 80' & pitching distance is 54'.
